TVS Stage 2

This introductory stage achieves the maximum performance from a stock engine without the need for hardware upgrades. It optimises throttle response, torque, and overall drivability, pushing the stock engine to its full potential while ensuring smooth and reliable operation.

Designed for drivers seeking enhanced performance without modifying physical components, this stage is tuned for 98 RON fuel, but options are available for different fuel grades as well. Additionally, enhanced cooling and oil temperature management are included to ensure reliability under high-power conditions.

TVS Stage 2+

Stage 2 delivers maximum performance for a lightly modified engine setup, requiring at least an aftermarket intake and high-flow downpipe. This upgrade maximises the potential of these hardware modifications, further enhancing power and torque for more aggressive driving.

By optimising the ECU to work in harmony with these upgrades, Stage 2+ takes advantage of the enhanced airflow and exhaust flow, while ensuring reliable performance through enhanced cooling and oil temperature management. Tuned for higher fuel grades, performance numbers may vary based on your personal modifications.

TVS expertly recalibrates injectors for increased fuel demands, scales MAP sensors for higher boost, and disables swirl flap functions to prevent fault codes, ensuring seamless operation. At Race Wars UK 2024, this PERON Development Audi TT RS (8S), equipped with TVS Stage 3 TCU tuning, delivered exceptional results, finishing 4th out of 55 vehicles in the quarter mile with a 9.58-second time. In full weight, street trim on 20" wheels, it also achieved 204.8 mph in the standing mile and 175.3 mph in the half mile.

The TVS Stage 3 TCU calibration for the DQ500 gearbox played a crucial role in managing the car’s 850 hp and 650 ft-lbs of torque. The advanced tuning improved torque handling, raised shift speeds, and ensured seamless transmission control, enabling faster, smoother acceleration. With tailored launch control and enhanced thermomanagement, the vehicle maintained peak performance under intense track conditions, reinforcing the PERON and TVS partnership's ability to push the limits of street-legal tuning while retaining daily driveability.

TimeAttack UK | Audi TT RS (8S)

PERON’s TT RS (8S) TimeAttack car ran flawlessly for two seasons at the top end of the Club 4WD class in the Time Attack UK series, equipped with TVS Stage 2+ TCU tuning. Competing against 700+hp vehicles, the car's DQ500 transmission, expertly tuned by TVS, consistently delivered smooth and reliable performance, demonstrating the precision of TVS’s DSG tuning under demanding track conditions.

Now, the vehicle is being upgraded with our P-850 Turbo Kit alongside a TVS Stage 4 tune for the DQ500 gearbox and TVS Race Clutches. This new setup is designed to optimise power delivery, increase torque capacity, and enhance transmission responsiveness. The combination of TVS’s advanced Stage 4 TCU calibration and PERON’s engineering expertise will create a synergy, pushing performance even further. As we take to the track next season, we aim to set new lap records in our class.

Driveability | VW Transporter (T6)

The Driveability Upgrade is a hallmark of TVS tuning, and for the Volkswagen Transporter, it fundamentally transforms the driving experience by eliminating jerky shifts and sluggish acceleration. With ultra-smooth gear changes, enhanced throttle response, and improved fuel efficiency, this tune drastically improves day-to-day usability while extending the life of the DQ500 gearbox through better thermomanagement.

DQ500 Conversion | Audi S3 (8P)

PERON Automotive, in partnership with TVS Engineering, transformed an Audi S3 (8P) into a high-performance daily driver capable of delivering up to 707 hp across four custom boost settings. The project relied on TVS’s mastery of DSG tuning, specifically through a DQ500 gearbox conversion and Stage 4 TCU software. The TVS tuning enabled enhanced torque handling, faster shifts, and improved thermomanagement, making the car versatile for everyday driving while offering thrilling performance when needed.

The collaboration also featured Nortech Performance for fuel and cooling upgrades, ensuring the setup could handle the high power output without compromising drivability. TVS’s TCU expertise played a critical role in ensuring the transmission could keep up with the upgraded turbo system and ECU calibration. The result is a car that remains street-friendly while delivering exceptional acceleration, responsiveness, and track-ready performance, illustrating the success of PERON and TVS working closely together.
