The EA888.3 engine's integrated cylinder head and exhaust manifold design make individual cylinder monitoring impossible, leaving many high-performance vehicles prone to engine failures even when fuel pressure and lambda levels appear correct, as fuel mass cannot be monitored at high speed without extremely expensive monitoring equipment.
