As part of their industry leading development programme, Akrapovič welcome their international agents, distributors and key dealers to attend an annual training conference at their Slovenian HQ in Ljubljana.
This summer, we joined a host of other prestigious partners to see the latest exciting new products being unveiled, ready to take us into 2020.
The slick, dynamic presentations are something we’ve come to expect and, once again, they didn’t disappoint. From in-depth technical overviews, to intensive sales workshops and a tour of their state-of-the-art technical facilities, we were left in no doubt why Akrapovič is the world leader in innovation and exhaust technology.
Selecting the right vehicles for exhaust development is a critical factor and once again Akrapovič have pinpointed the cars of the moment. We were the first to see new, and as yet unreleased titanium systems for the Porsche 992, BMW Z4 M40i and the Toyota Supra – three vehicles that are making headlines all over the world.
After the tour of Akrapovič’s cutting edge facility, it’s clear that there’s a lot more to follow, including some highly innovative technology that will keep Akrapovič at the forefront of exhaust technology. There will be lots more product announcements over the coming months.
Of course being a product that not only increases performance and saves weight, but one that also produces a thrilling sound, part of the event was devoted to experiencing the Akrapovič effect.
We were given a selection of exciting vehicles to test on track, including the new Toyota Supra, an Alfa Romeo 4C, Mercedes-AMG A35 and a BMW M140i. Being able to get a feel for each of these Akrapovič-equipped cars really left us no doubt just how much better they sounded compared with the factory exhaust systems. We also got to try our hands on the skid pan in a Porsche GT3 and BMW M2, which was not only very enlightening, but enormous fun too.
Keep your eyes on our blog and social media channels for the latest product announcements from Akrapovič. The Supra system is now available for pre-order by clicking HERE with the Z4 M40i to follow soon.
