The Akrapovič Slip-On Race Line enhances the auditory experience of Porsche’s iconic flat-six engine. It delivers a deep, harmonic tone at low revs, building to a powerful and refined sound in the mid-range, before culminating in a high-frequency sensation at higher rpm. The result is a thrilling acoustic profile that enhances every aspect of the driving experience. Special attention has been given to eliminating intrusive droning, ensuring a comfortable and immersive sound both inside and outside the cabin.
Performance
The Akrapovič Slip-On Race Line (Titanium) delivers measurable performance gains by reducing back pressure and significantly lowering weight. Dyno testing reveals a power increase of +14.0 hp at 7,250 rpm and a torque boost of +10.4 ft-lb at 3,550 rpm. The system’s titanium construction achieves a weight reduction of 8.4 kg—59.8% lighter than the stock sports exhaust system. These improvements result in sharper throttle response and enhanced handling, providing a more dynamic and engaging driving experience.
For those seeking further performance gains, the optional Link Pipe Set w/ Catalytic Converters is available. This upgrade features 300 cpsi sport catalytic converters and eliminates OPFs/GPFs, unlocking additional power and delivering a deeper, more aggressive sound.
