Precision Turbo & Engine (PTE) EA888.3 Factory Upgrade Turbos are designed for MQB-based Audi and Volkswagen vehicles seeking serious performance from a true OEM-location turbocharger. Built to directly replace factory IS20 and IS38 units, these turbos deliver substantial power gains, faster response, and improved efficiency while retaining factory fitment and long-term reliability.

Engineered using Precision’s proven motorsport-derived approach, PTE EA888.3 turbos utilise Next Gen CEA® (Competition Engineered Aerodynamics) compressor technology to maximise airflow while maintaining excellent efficiency at elevated boost pressures. This results in a broader, more usable powerband with improved transient response compared to hybrid turbo solutions, making them suitable for both fast-road and high-performance applications.

Featuring CNC-machined billet compressor wheels, high-efficiency turbine design, and water-cooled dual ceramic ball bearing centre cartridges, these turbos deliver reduced lag, stable boost control, and consistent performance under sustained load. Power capability typically ranges from 575hp to 700hp+, depending on turbo specification and supporting modifications.

Developed specifically for EA888.3 MQB platforms, these turbos integrate seamlessly with factory-fit downpipes and intake systems (Stage 2 requires an intake hose). Applications include Golf GTI & Golf R, Audi S3, Audi TT / TTS, Leon Cupra, and Octavia VRS.
